Integrated Education for Children
The project is organized by the Association "Amici del Campus delle Arti" at the Guglielmina Ronconi school in Rome and will take place from November 2023 to May 2024, every Monday and Thursday afternoon. It is aimed at two age groups: the first involves children from first to third grade, the second involves children from third to fifth grade.
Thanks to funding from "Scuole aperte di Roma Capitale," the Campus delle Arti is transforming its established summer project (a residential camp that has involved hundreds of young musicians for 20 years) into a permanent school of education and values through music, gymnastics, and cooking. For this reason, a team has been assembled consisting of established teachers and young musicians already on their career path. Competence, passion, and a great ability to collaborate while having fun are the characteristics that unite them.
The two different projects, integrating together, embody our ideal of School: a place where individual lessons are tailored to the needs of each child. Meanwhile, the group lessons are inclusive, offering opportunities and tools for interaction and exchange among children from different cultures and predispositions."
