He graduated with honors, honors and special mention at the Conservatory “A.Boito” in Parma, under the guidance of Maestro Franco Rossi, who also attended chamber music courses at the Conservatory of Florence. He has performed in various theaters, including La Scala in Milan, in concerts dedicated to the Art of Fugue by Bach with the Borciani Masters, Pegreffi (cd Nuova Era 6744/45). He has worked as a soloist with the Solisti Veneti, the Nuovi Virtuosi di Roma and the Solisti di Mosca in tournees that have ranged from Europe to Japan. He has collaborated with many artists: Pier Narciso Masi, Benedetto Lupo, BorisPetrushansky, Andrea Lucchesini, Federico Agostini, Domenico Nordio, Massimo Quarta, Marco Rizzi, Marco Rogliano, Pavel Vernikov, Corrado Giuffredi, Gervase de Peyer, Eddie Daniels and Anthony Pay, Fabrizio Merlini, Danilo Rossi, Simonide Braconi, Enrico Dindo, Mario Brunello, as well as the Borodin Quartet, with Maestro Giuseppe Sinopoli, with the Mozart Orchestra conducted by Maestro Claudio Abbado. Since 1980 he has been a cello teacher at the F.Venezze musical conservatory from Rovigo. Esteemed teacher, he is regularly invited as a member of Boards of National and International Chamber Music Competition and Cello. He plays on an instrument of 1737 by Gregorio Antoniazzi belonging to Gaspar Cassadò. For Bottega Discantica he recorded the complete work of F. Mendelssohn for cello and piano, in duo with Andrea Carcano and then the Six Bach Suites for solo cello. cellist of the New Italian Quartet, with whom he performed throughout Europe, Japan, United States, Soviet Union, deserving wide recognition. The New Italian Quartet has collaborated for more than a decade with the tenor José Carreras. For the recordings he received the highest acknowledgments of the specialized critics: Gold Star, Diapason d’Or, Choc du Monde de la Musique, Prestige, Grand Prix du Disque with Claves, Emi, Adda, New Era.
